‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods’ episode 18: Demon and Goddess clans gear up for another Holy War

In “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 18 the members of the Goddess Clan will start to possess human bodies and recruit humans to Stigma. Meanwhile, changes in the Demon Clan’s power structure are happening as well with Meliodas poised to become its leader.

Meliodas reached an agreement with Estarossa and Zeldris

In “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 17, Meliodas, Chandler, and Elizabeth finally reached to where Zeldris and Estarossa were. Just as expected, Zeldris wanted to claim the throne and, together with Estarossa, attacked Meliodas.

But they were in for a big surprise. It turns out that Meliodas was way stronger than the two of them as both Estarossa and Zeldris were easily pinned down by Meliodas’ power.

When Meliodas lifted up his oppressive might, Zeldris attacked once more. This time, Meliodas responded by using physical techniques to block Zeldris. Meanwhile, Estarossa’s attempt to sneak attack Elizabeth but was foiled by Meliodas as well.

Zeldris only calmed down when Meliodas said that he knew why Zeldris wanted to become the Demon King and whispered something into his sibling’s ears. The shocked Zeldris agreed to help Meliodas as Estarossa concluded that Meliodas must have threatened Zeldris with something.

Meliodas’ plan is to gather all Ten Commandments and use them for his own. This way, he will be just as strong as the Demon King and might be able to lift Elizabeth’s curse on his own.

At the moment, Zeldris already had the commandments of Gowther, Gloxinia, and Drole while Meliodas already has Grayroad's. This means that Estarossa and Zeldris will likely hunt down the remaining Ten Commandments in “The Seven Deadly Sins” season 3 episode 18 or later episodes.

Meanwhile, Ludociel will find a new body to possess in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 18. The body belongs to Margaret Liones which even surprised the Archangel as her body has a very strong affinity to his magic.

But it won’t just be Ludociel who’s coming back to the world. His fellow Archangels will each find a body to possess in “The Seven Deadly Sins” season 3 episode 18. The interesting part is that they will start recruiting humans to become members of Stigma.

With both the Goddess and the Demon Clans amassing power, it seems that another Holy War is inevitable. “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 18 will arrive next week. Stay tuned for updates.
