What Are The Effects Of Drug Abuse?
Drug abuse leads to disintegration in families. Drug users tend to become aggressive and abusive in relationships. Although they never intend to hurt their loved ones, the drugs that they take to make them react the way they do. When they are upset even a little, they turn aggressive and start fighting everyone around them. Within no time, their family can’t take their unruly behavior anymore. This leads to separation and divorce if the drug user does not change their ways.
What are the effects of drug abuse? Drug abuse affects our economy as the government spends so much trying to rehabilitate drug users. In the United States of America, the government spends billions of dollars each year on law enforcement and in advertising to eradicate drug abuse.
This money is used in setting up cells and prisons for drug peddlers and users while at the same time the government is educating the public on the importance of living drug-free. This money could be used in improving our economy and setting up institutions for the benefit of everyone.
What are the effects of drug abuse? Drug abuse leads to increased criminal activity. When the drug addicts run out of money to buy drugs, they are forced to steal. This has led to insecurity in many areas where drug abuse and addiction is a major problem. Drug users also tend to be very violent; therefore they harm innocent people in society. Some people have lost their lives in the hands of drug users.
When someone is under the influence of drugs, they do not know what they are doing. They can strangle someone and think that they are just playing with them. This has led to increased untimely deaths, caused by the abuse of drugs. Drugs do not help in any way. They create more and more damage every day. We should all say no to drugs as much as possible to try and help our world.
