‘This Is Us’ Season 1, Episode 7 Spoilers: "The Best Washing Machine in the World" – Randall Struggles with Bad Relationship with Kevin

‘This Is Us’ season 1’s episode 7, entitled "The Best Washing Machine in the World", will follow Randall and Kevin as they struggle with their messy relationship as brothers. Meanwhile, Beth learns a secret about William while Katy struggles with Toby’s non-compliance of his strict diet.

The synopsis for episode 7 posted on Heavy stated, “The dynamic of Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Kevin’s (Justin Hartly) rocky relationship is explained. Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) and William (Ron Cephas Jones) spend time together, which unexpectedly brings to light a secret William has been keeping.

As Rebecca (Mandy Moore) gets back to work for the first time in years, both she and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) acknowledge that there is distance between them. Toby (Chris Sullivan) is caught straying from his diet regimen, throwing Kate (Chrissy Metz) into crisis.”

Judging by the synopsis alone, it seems that confrontations and revelations will come up for the characters of the new drama-comedy series. The promo for "The Best Washing Machine in the World" opens with Kate paying her boyfriend Toby an unexpected visit at his place. When she asks if she could go inside, he hesitates as if there is something in there that she should not know about.

Meanwhile, Beth learns her father-in-law’s secret after spending some time with him. She decides to tell her husband immediately but William pleads, “Beth, you can’t do that!” She insists, “This is my husband.”

Randall, on the other hand, is dealing with the issues he has with his brother Kevin. In one scene from the preview, he confronts him on the street saying, “What are you harboring ‘coz God knows I would love to hear this!”

By the end of the promo, Randall is sitting in a car with Kevin to which he says, “It’s the first time in 36 years you said the words, ‘He’s my brother.’” It would be interesting to see what caused the massive rift between Randall and Kevin.

New photographs for episode 7 have also been released by NBC ahead of the premiere. One of the images posted on Headline Planet shows the brothers talking intently over dinner. Another shows Kevin surrounded by lady fans as they do self-portraits with him as Randall stands bewildered.

A third photograph shows the brothers sharing laughs as they sit in a couch. Perhaps the two will finally work out their differences in the incoming episode.
