Dallas, TX, June 26, 2017 -- Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Robert D. Eickenroht has joined the Firm’s Houston office as a Partner in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group.

“Robert has more than 30 years of legal experience in an array of industries, including the energy and water sectors,” said Wesley P. Williams, the Firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Leader. “His experience in the offshore Gulf of Mexico, midstream, pipeline, and power sectors will complement our Firm’s existing corporate and energy practices. We welcome Robert to the Firm and look forward to collaborating with him to serve our valued clients.”
Mr. Eickenroht has a broad-based corporate and securities practice that focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and partnership law, and equities. His experience includes mergers; asset and stock purchases and dispositions; private placements; venture capital and private equity financings; structuring and forming partnerships, joint ventures and strategic alliances; offshore drilling projects; power generation, transmission, distribution, and marketing activities and derivatives; gas storage, transmission, distribution, and marketing activities and derivatives; the refining/processing and marketing of oil, gas, and natural gas liquids; the development, purchase, and sale of renewables businesses; and the development, purchase, and sale of water-related assets.
Previously, Mr. Eickenroht served as a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of a Fortune 10 diversified energy company. Immediately prior to joining Thompson & Knight, he was a Partner in the Houston office of Locke Lord LLP. He received a J.D., cum laude, from University of Houston Law Center in 1986 and a B.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin in 1983. He is licensed to practice in Texas and a member of the State Bar of Texas.
