Tom Cruise and daughter Suri are in touch again, according to a report. Katie Holme’s ex-husband wants her 13-year-old daughter to join Scientology, so he agreed to open their line of communication again.
As per the Globe (via Gossip Cop), the “Mission Impossible” star is aiming to recruit Suri Cruise despite knowing that his ex-wife Katie is totally against the idea of their child becoming part of the controversial religion. The father and daughter reportedly reconnected after years of not seeing or hearing from each other.
“Suri hasn’t been raised as a Scientologist, but now that Tom is communicating with her again, his aim will be to steer her back to the church,” adds the alleged insider. “He’s no doubt been putting Scientology thoughts in her head in the hopes that it will sink in.”
The dubious source supposedly further claimed that Tom Cruise and the other high-ranking officials of Scientology think that Suri truly belongs to them, so they want her to come. She will be the church’s “princess” thus the 56-year-old actor is trying his best to bring her to the church.
“He (Tom) believes Suri will want to explore the inner reaches of the religion once he frees her from her mother’s apron strings,” the insider revealed.
As Tom Cruise wants Suri to change her faith to Scientology, Katie Holmes was said to have felt an overwhelming feeling of nervousness, and she is horrified. It was also mentioned that the actor wants to bring Suri to the church as fast as possible.
However, Gossip Cop did not find the report convincing, so it investigated the story. It found out that Tom Cruise is not recruiting Suri for Scientology and in fact, this is impossible for they have not reconnected, as alleged, in the first place.
Moreover, there was no instance that the actor even attempted to get in touch with his daughter again since his divorce from Katie Holmes. Tom is still estranged from Suri that even on her 13th birthday, he was nowhere near her and it does not appear that he greeted her that day as well. The teener celebrated her special day with a trip to Paris with her mom and friends only.
