Tom Cruise is allegedly trying his best to get Meghan Markle to join his Scientology church. It was claimed that the A-list actor has been wishing for the former actress and member of the royal family to be a member of his religion and he already took his first step to entice her.

NW magazine reported that a source revealed that when Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan, reached out to him through Oprah Winfrey, the “Mission Impossible” actor did not waste his time and act swiftly by using the chance to “lure” the Duchess of Sussex. As per the narration of the tipster, the actor started by telling her all about Scientology and shared how it turned his life around and saved him.
For the next step, Katie Holme’s ex supposedly brought Meghan Markle for a private tour of Scientology’s church in British Columbia located near Vancouver Island wear the duchess currently resides with her family. The actor was able to invite her for the tour since she also expressed interest during their first meeting.
“He encouraged her to sign up to the Church’s introductory program, simply to open her mind and learn more about it,” the source reportedly told NW. “Meghan’s very spiritual and spends a lot of time seeking answers through various religions. She’s always been interested in the teachings of Scientology.”
The truth
Now, since this is a suspicious story, Gossip Cop launched an investigation to see if the facts stated on the NW report are true. After checking with someone in Meghan Markle’s camp, the fact-checking site learned that the story was a complete hoax.
In the first place, Meghan Markle and Tom Cruise did not even meet each other in Canada. Plus, if the duchess really visited the Scientology church, it would be easy for the paparazzi to take pictures of her which did not happen because if it did, her photos would have been all over the front pages by now.
Most probably, this is just another stunt to link Markle and Cruise as there were previous claims that the latter reportedly approached Prince Harry’s wife so they can make a movie together. Express reported that the response to this news was “wild” because fans allegedly see the chemistry between the two.
