The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement plans a six-day tour of eight Nigerian states to build grassroots voter support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, convenes the movement. A statement attributed to the group and published by Premium Times on Nov. 8 sets the tour dates as Nov. 9 to Nov. 14.
The statement says the movement had already operated in about 20 states and distributed more than 500 vehicles to support grassroots operations and coordinators.
The Star described the eight-state tour as bringing the movement’s reach to about 20 states. That differs from the movement statement, which places its activity in about 20 states before the tour. Neither account explains whether the planned stops are included in that total.
The itinerary opens with Enugu and Cross River on Nov. 9, followed by Bayelsa on Nov. 11. Zamfara and Jigawa are scheduled for Nov. 12, Anambra and Kebbi for Nov. 13, and Abia for Nov. 14.
The movement named Okpara Square in Enugu, Calabar Municipal Field in Cross River and Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa, Bayelsa, as venues. It said sites for the other five stops would be announced later.
The group says its local network is intended to carry the administration’s message into communities. It said coordinators at state, local government and ward levels would explain policies on economic reforms, infrastructure, education and local government autonomy.
A separate movement statement published by Premium Times on Oct. 21 said the group presented 26 vehicles in Ondo and 26 in Gombe. EconoTimes previously covered the 52-vehicle deployment in Ondo and Gombe.
The tour is scheduled to begin with events in Enugu and Cross River on Nov. 9.
