At a Friday rally in Fort Myers, Trump said Washington could take limited military action or reach a deal, and questioned whether Tehran would declare itself ready to negotiate.

At a rally in Fort Myers, Trump said, “We may do another little Epic Fury, or they’ll agree.” He urged Tehran to publicly commit to serious talks and said he doubted it would. He did not say a deal had been reached, and announced no new strike.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) says Operation Epic Fury began Feb. 28, 2026. No order or timetable for another operation was announced at the rally.

Iran’s state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted Major General Ali Abdollahi, chief of the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, as saying Tehran would bar U.S. military vessels from the Persian Gulf. EconoTimes previously reported Iran’s warning over U.S. vessels in the Persian Gulf.
