GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 20, 2017 -- The Universal Forest Products, Inc. (Nasdaq:UFPI) Board of Directors approved a semiannual dividend payment of $0.45 per share at their April 18, 2017, meeting. The dividend is payable on June 15, 2017, to shareholders of record on June 1, 2017.

On Tues., April 18, 2017, Universal announced that it broke 2016’s first-quarter record performance with net earnings of $21.1 million, up 10 percent, and net sales of $846.1 million, up 24 percent.
