UK Q3 GDP growth estimate likely to remain at 0.5

United Kingdom's GDP for the third quarter of this year, as expected by market consensus is likely to be estimated at 0.5, unchanged from its previous estimate, while the year on year GDP estimate is likely to come in at 2.3%.

"The industrial output data left the estimate of growth in Q3 unchanged at 0.2% qoq whereas the latter revised the estimate from -2.2% qoq to -1.9%.This change is not large enough to cause a change in the estimate of Q3 growth from the Q2 figure of 0.5% qoq", says Societe Generale in a research note.
