Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, in an interview on Fox News, gave out that he would be releasing further significant information on the Democratic Presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, before the election on November 8th. According to him, the new information will be released in batches and the first batch will be available pretty soon and the teasers would be available to public as early as next week.
In the interview, Mr. Assange said that she knew that the marking ‘C’ means classified and repeatedly asserted that she has been lying. Mrs. Clinton initially said that she didn’t exchange classified information in her private email server, which was found to be false. Then she said that she didn’t understand that the ‘C’ marking meant classified and she thought it to be alphabetic order, though there were no markings of ‘a’, ‘b’, or 'd'.
In that interview, Mr. Assange added an allegation that the Obama administration prosecuted more journalists under espionage act than all other administration in history combined. Mr. Assange added that Mrs. Clinton herself used “C” in bracket while receiving thousands of such email.
Clinton campaign, which has been dogged by allegations of dishonesty and over her use of private email server, could face further hit if the new revelations show that she knew what the ‘C’ meant.
Wikileaks is credited with releasing the emails of Democratic National Committee (DNC) that showed that the central committee was biased towards electing Clinton.
