US U-Mich measure of confidence probably rebounded slightly in April

After falling from an eleven-year high over the past two months, the University of Michigan measure of confidence probably rebounded slightly in April (15.00 BST).

Gasoline prices have fallen back again, brightening the outlook for consumers, while the labour market still appears relatively strong.

Capital Economics  says - "We expect an increase to around 95.0 in April, from 93.0 in March, which would suggest strong spending growth in the second quarter."
