Westpac Research notes:
US 10yr treasury yields rose from 2.17% to 2.28%, despite the US data disappointing. That is probably because US yields closely followed German bund yields, the latter rising in response to the positive European news. The 10yr bund yield rose from 0.55% to 0.71% amid stronger than expected Eurozone inflation reports.
