Uniqlo will raise prices on 11 products in Japan on Nov. 10, citing higher raw-material and logistics costs and yen weakness; it expects overall average selling prices to rise about 4%.
The Kando Jacket will cost 7,990 yen, up from 6,990 yen. Uniqlo will also end offers that sell three or four pairs of socks for 990 yen. Socks covered by the offers will be sold individually for 390 yen a pair. The company’s price notice says listed prices include tax.
The changes follow September price increases on two clothing items and higher shipping and alteration fees. Uniqlo cited raw-material and logistics costs and the weaker yen as reasons for its latest revisions.
Fast Retailing, Uniqlo’s parent company, reported that UNIQLO Japan’s business profit rose 8.1% to 196.0 billion yen in fiscal 2026, which ended Aug. 31. The company’s fiscal 2027 outlook points to a slight decline in UNIQLO Japan’s gross margin, while less favorable yen rates on forward exchange contracts used for procurement are expected to add to costs.
