MANTECA, Calif., July 17, 2017 -- Valley Chiropractic Center recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of the opening of its Manteca location. This location opened in June 2016 and has been serving people from the area since then. It is part of a three-branch system. The other branches are in Tracy and Mountain House.
"We believe that people shouldn't have to make extremely long trips to get health care, especially when they are in pain. This is one of the reasons we operate three separate clinics instead of simply expanding one location. Everyone appreciates the convenience of being able to be treated close to home," said Dr. Tim Coykendall of Valley Chiropractic Center.
Just as the center has three branches, it also has three lead chiropractors. Dr. Coykendall has spent over 11 years at the Tracy location, and Drs. Joseph Russell and Johannes Garrido spend their time between the clinics.
Dr. Coykendall became a licensed chiropractor in 1999 and wasted no time in setting up his first Valley Chiropractic Center office in Tracy. He focuses on both accelerating patients' journeys to good health and on helping them maintain it once they arrive.
Dr. Russell is both a chiropractor and a massage therapist. He became a chiropractor in 2006 and joined Valley Chiropractic Center in 2009. He also has 10 years of experience as a massage therapist.
Dr. Garrido became licensed as a chiropractor in 2006. He grew up in Spain and has also lived in several California cities. Now, he travels between Valley Chiropractic Center's three clinics to treat local patients.
Together, the three doctors and locations provide a variety of services. They offer chiropractic care for general good health as well as to treat injuries that arise during specific situations like auto accidents. Unlike some chiropractic clinics, they do not limit their treatments to the spine. Extremity treatments reduce pain from injuries like pulled hamstrings and help to prevent these conditions from causing the rest of the body to develop problems. Massage therapy is also offered.
