The very short video teaser of “Vinland Saga” episode 6 shows a younger Thorfinn in the middle of a battlefield. In another cutscene, fans can also see Askeladd staring at the orphan with splatters of blood on his face.
Aside from providing more context from the point of Thors's death, the two-part anime original episodes also opened the discussion among fans on Askeladd's real reason for keeping Thorfinn alive.
