DOVER, Del., April 30, 2018 -- The Vision Quest Eye Care Center in Dover is expanding its service area with the opening of a new optometry office in Milford, Delaware. Located at 800 Airport Road, Suite 101 in Milford, the new eye care center will offer a complete range of eye exams, contact lenses, glasses, glaucoma testing, and pre- and post-operative care. Hours for the new vision care provider will be Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Similar to the original location, the Milford Vision Quest Eye Care Center will offer high-quality optometry services in a comfortable environment. Dr. Troy Raber, O.D. was specially selected by Dr. Phillip Gross to lead up the new office based upon his experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized eye care to Vision Quest patients. The Milford optometrist will offer comprehensive primary eye care, eye exams, medical ocular evaluations, visual fields, OCT, and eyeglasses fittings to patients of all ages. He also fits contact lenses, treats dry eye and glaucoma, provides post-operative care and manages patients with cataracts, diabetes and macular degeneration.
Dr. Troy Raber, who is originally from York, Pennsylvania, earned his B.S in Biology at Millersville University and completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL, graduating with highest honors. After completing a residency at the Illinois Eye Institute, Dr. Raber served on faculty for several years at the Illinois College of Optometry. He has been practicing optometry in Kent and Sussex counties since 1999. In addition to leading the Milford office, Dr. Raber is a guest lecturer at the Beebe School of Nursing and speaks to community groups on the importance of eye and vision care.
