NEW YORK and LONDON, Jan. 16, 2018 -- WCN, a pioneer of innovative recruitment technology, today shared details of its robust 2017 performance. Another successful year for the company, key highlights include increased revenues, the introduction of new talent acquisition solutions, multiple awards success and recognition from the industry and analyst communities.
Charles Hipps, founder and CEO of WCN, commented, “Building off of the previous year, 2017 was a hugely productive year for WCN. We received a tremendous outpouring of recognition and commendation for our technology and team members, on top of growing the business and unveiling new and updated solutions. We move into 2018 confident and well-prepared to continue this path, helping companies reduce time to hire, improve the candidate experience and hire smarter.”
WCN experienced considerable growth in 2017, including overall revenues that were higher than the previous year. Globally, the company increased revenues by over 16 percent, citing over 23 percent growth in the U.S. WCN also added to the hugely experienced Americas team with the addition of sales directors Britton Sanders and Jason Daniels.
A banner year for WCN, the company took home several awards and featured prominently in a number of industry publications and reports. Named a 2017 Hot Vendor in Talent Management by Aragon Research, WCN was also cited as a Major Player in the “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Modern Talent Acquisition Systems 2017 Vendor Assessment” (Doc # US41542217, September 2017). The company was also included in “The 2018 Index of Predictive Tools in HRTech: The Emergence of Intelligent Software by HRExaminer.”
Behind these results was WCN’s continued commitment to update its talent acquisition suite, staying ahead of the innovation curve. WCN accomplished this in the introduction of Predictive Recruiting Scoring, which uses a machine learning algorithm to zero in on ideal candidates from the moment their application is complete and submitted, with up to 90 percent confidence. This tool is leveraged heavily by WCN Total Talent, helping busy recruiters pinpoint talent faster and dedicate more time to nurturing relationships in order to prevent losing out to competition. The company also unveiled WCN Finance, covering all requisitions for financial services firms on one system at every level and currently being implemented by CohnReznick.
Hipps concluded, “In 2018, WCN looks forward to continuing our keen focus on supporting the talent acquisition needs of organizations of all sizes across different industries.”
