According to Sneaker News, this “Pure Ruby” edition, inspired by Edwards’ alma mater, the University of Georgia, features the Georgia Bulldogs' red and black colors. The outer shell is vibrant red, balanced by a black sock lining.

Anthony Edwards entered the University of Georgia as one of the nation’s top recruits and left as the #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft. His college achievements are remarkable, including being the leading scorer on his team, averaging 19.1 points per game, and winning the SEC Freshman of the Year award in 2020. While Howard’s signature navy and red remain prominent, the color-blocking shifts to a “Black Toe” design instead of the previous “Chicago” style.
