WILMINGTON, Del., May 10, 2017 -- Step inside Navient’s Delaware offices and you will likely run into Jaimie Phipps. She is known for her bubbly personality and always being on the move to help others. It is these qualities that have made her the recipient of Navient’s quarterly Solutions Navigator Award.

Phipps, a human resources coordinator who has been with Navient for three years, was nominated for the award by her colleagues at the company’s Wilmington and Newark locations.
At Navient, Phipps is often one of the first people new employees meet in the Greater Philadelphia region. She can be found facilitating the company’s new employee orientations at Navient’s locations in Newark, Wilmington and Moorestown, N.J.
Jon Kroehler, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, presented Phipps with the award, which recognizes one employee who demonstrates Navient’s core values: customer-centricity, proactivity, leadership, stability, integrity and innovation.
Phipps credits her success at Navient with staying focused and positive throughout each day.
“Don’t let little things stress you out and approach each day with a fresh attitude,” Phipps said after receiving the award. “You should be able to have a little bit of fun to enjoy your job.”
An effective multi-tasker, Phipps is no stranger to juggling many different tasks in the workplace to assist her colleagues, always going the extra mile to meet deadlines and accomplish goals, while also consistently demonstrating a professional and polite demeanor.
