Hexagonal in design, this custom box is decked out in Wu-Tang's iconic yellow and black colors, reminiscent of a honeycomb that nods to the many monikers associated with the group. Inside the box, fans will find a pair of the highly-anticipated Dunk High sneakers, a Staten Island Honey-scented candle, and a co-branded t-shirt featuring the Wu-Tang and Nike logos across the chest.

In an exciting twist, the final slide of the unveiling featured none other than RZA signing the shoebox, suggesting that Wu-Tang and Nike may offer a special giveaway for this exclusive collector’s set. Full details on the limited-edition packaging and potential release are expected soon. As for the sneakers themselves, they are set to drop on November 9, 2024, via SNKRS and select retailers at a retail price of $150.

Among the significant celebrations is the 20th anniversary of Bleach, coinciding with the premiere of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict. To commemorate the milestone, ASICS has teamed up with the anime for a unique collaboration, offering two limited-edition designs inspired by the series’ beloved characters. These exclusive sneakers will be available only at Foot Locker.

The first design is an ASICS GT-2160 inspired by protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki. The black, orange, and white colorway mirrors Ichigo’s signature attire, while his bright orange hair is referenced throughout the shoe’s design. His name, printed in Japanese characters, is featured on the lateral side of the right shoe.

The second pair, the ASICS GEL-NYC, is a tribute to Renji Abarai, featuring a striking red and gold color scheme. Soft red suede overlays, a golden heel, and mid-foot accents are complemented by black suede finishing details on the lace collar and tongue. The symbols for the 6th Division of the Gotei 13, where Renji serves, adorn the heel of the shoe.

ASICS is no stranger to anime collaborations, having recently partnered with Naruto and other pop culture icons, including its Marvel x Kith collection. According to Sneaker News, these Bleach-inspired ASICS sneakers will be available at select Foot Locker locations during the Holiday 2024 season, with a limited release coinciding with New York Comic Con.
