XRP open interest rose 4.56% over 24 hours in a Nov. 4 snapshot of five perpetual-futures markets, while Dogecoin was the sole decliner and Bitcoin retained the largest total.
The reading was taken at 6:01 a.m. ET (11:01 UTC) Nov. 4. Open interest stood at $7.74 billion for Bitcoin (BTC), up 0.18% over 24 hours; $5.50 billion for Ether (ETH), up 3.12%; $875 million for Solana (SOL), up 0.83%; $440.9 million for XRP, up 4.56%; and $200 million for Dogecoin (DOGE), down 1.99%. XRP recorded the group’s largest 24-hour percentage increase, while DOGE was the only market to decline.
The snapshot’s mark prices at that time were $78,587 for BTC, $2,328 for ETH, $93.60 for SOL, $1.29 for XRP and $0.0752 for DOGE.
Funding was 0.0100% for each eight-hour period across all five markets, equivalent to 10.9% on an annualized basis. The positive rate meant long positions paid short positions.
Long accounts represented more than half of all accounts in each market. Solana had the highest long-account share, at 75.3%, followed by Dogecoin at 73.3%, XRP at 70.9%, Ether at 68.4% and Bitcoin at 65.7%. The corresponding short-account shares were 24.7%, 26.7%, 29.1%, 31.6% and 34.3%.
XRP also led EconoTimes’ Nov. 1 five-market snapshot, with a 4.30% increase over 24 hours. Open interest reflects the dollar value of active derivatives contracts, while account shares show the split between long and short accounts. Bitcoin had the highest open-interest total, Solana had the largest long-account share and XRP led in percentage growth; XRP’s $440.9 million total ranked fourth among the five assets.
