CryptoQuant said XRP (XRP), the XRP Ledger’s native asset, had its highest reported withdrawal-transaction share since Aug. 18 before the Fed’s Oct. 28 decision, though the measure does not show net token flows.

In the firm’s seven-day measure as of Oct. 25, withdrawals accounted for 55.75% of deposit and withdrawal transactions on Binance and 54.85% across centralized exchanges. Both figures were below the Aug. 18 comparisons: 56.75% on Binance and 55.4% across centralized exchanges.

“These seven-day shares measure transaction counts, not XRP volumes or net flows,” Amr Taha, author of the CryptoQuant analysis, wrote.

A separate CryptoQuant measure showed combined XRP reserves at Binance, Upbit and Bithumb rising from 10.83 billion XRP on Oct. 5 to 10.95 billion on Oct. 20. The firm said the Oct. 20 figures still needed final daily confirmation.

The withdrawal share counts transaction events, while the reserve measure tracks combined balances at three exchanges. Neither shows net movement across all exchanges. Earlier EconoTimes coverage of XRP transfers to tracked exchange wallets examined incoming tokens over a separate 30-day period, a different measure that cannot be combined with these figures to calculate net flows.

XRP closed at $1.29 on Oct. 25, according to CoinGecko’s UTC-dated historical series. On Sept. 16, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) raised its target range by 0.25 percentage point to 3.75%–4% and said inflation remained elevated.

The Fed has scheduled its next rate decision for 2 p.m. ET Wednesday, Oct. 28, followed by a press conference at 2:30 p.m. ET.
