The Hub also listed 173 registered merchants on Oct. 19. Its transaction count does not include every AI-agent payment on the XRP Ledger.

The XRPL AI Hub has tracked more than 14.5 million transactions tied to digital services, while Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz has discussed a wider role for AI agents in personal finance.

At about 3:46 p.m. ET (19:46 UTC) on Oct. 19, the Hub showed 14,547,668 tracked transactions and 173 registered merchants. Its cumulative settlements stood at 7,010.24 XRP (XRP) and 16,509.25 Ripple USD (RLUSD). Those settlement figures describe the amounts paid within the tracking system, alongside its transaction tally.

The Hub identifies payments through facilitator tags. Its count therefore covers transactions captured by that method, rather than every payment made by AI agents on the XRP Ledger. It is a count of transactions, not a count of users.

The tools cited here focus on payments for digital services. On June 9, Ripple introduced the XRPL AI Starter Kit for developers building applications that pay in XRP or RLUSD. In the x402 flow, an online service sends payment terms in response to a software request. An application can then pay for access to an API, computing power or another digital resource.

Privy announced a Ripple partnership on Oct. 13 aimed at bringing programmable wallet tools to XRP Ledger developers. The planned capabilities would allow applications to create wallets and sign transactions through code. Privy also plans to add policy controls as the integration develops; it gave no date for those controls.

Schwartz discussed the wider possibility in an interview published Oct. 18 by Thinking Crypto. His remarks concerned agents handling people's finances, beyond paying for individual online resources. He named no Ripple product for that use and gave no launch date.
