YieldMax announced a $0.3458-per-share distribution for its Memory and Storage Portfolio Option Income ETF (YRAM), payable Oct. 22, down 10.8% from the previous week's payment.
The prior week's $0.3877 payment was $0.0419 higher per share, a 10.8% difference. Oct. 21 served as both the ex-dividend and record dates.
YRAM's distribution rate was 40.47% at the Oct. 19 close. It extrapolates the latest distribution into an annual figure relative to the fund's most recent net asset value, but is not a total-return measure.
YRAM reported a 0.71% 30-day SEC yield for the period ended Sept. 30; the measure excludes income from options. The ETF uses options strategies linked to memory and storage companies.
Income is YRAM's leading objective, while capital appreciation is a secondary goal. YieldMax says distributions can vary or be skipped, and some payments may represent returned investor capital.
