Yemen’s Interior Ministry said three missiles were aimed at Coast Guard facilities in Aden on Saturday, as separate government and Houthi accounts described other targets in the southern city.

The ministry said two missiles were directed at Coast Guard headquarters on its compound, while a third targeted a separate Coast Guard building in al-Tawahi district. Authorities were collecting evidence and assessing damage, it said.

Yemen’s Information Ministry separately said on X that missiles targeted Aden’s airport and port.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the group targeted a gathering of forces at al-Nasr camp and a naval military base in Aden. His account differed from the Interior Ministry’s description of Coast Guard sites.

The government also reported that the Houthis targeted Aden International Airport on Oct. 21, a claim covered in EconoTimes’ earlier report on the Aden and Mukalla airport claims. Saree’s statement for that date instead named a Saudi-led coalition operations room at Badr Camp in Aden.

The Interior Ministry described the attacks as a threat to Aden’s security and public services. It provided no casualty or damage figures and gave no date for a further update.
