SALT LAKE CITY, March 07, 2017 -- ZAGG Inc (NASDAQ:ZAGG), a global leader in accessories and technologies that empower mobile lifestyles, today announced the appointment of Chris Ahern as president of mophie®, the No. 1 selling mobile battery case brand in the U.S. In his new role, Ahern will be responsible for executing on the ZAGG Inc corporate objectives of Creative Product Solutions, being the Preferred Brand, Targeted Global Distribution and Operational Excellence for the mophie business unit globally. He will report to Randy Hales, CEO of ZAGG Inc.

Ahern joined ZAGG Inc as managing director for the international business unit in 2014, and was promoted to president of the international business unit in June 2016. During his tenure with the company, Ahern has built a high-performing international team and consistently out-performed the market by achieving record sales growth and profitability. Ahern successfully led the integration of the ZAGG and mophie international teams after the 2016 mophie acquisition and leveraged the combined brands to rapidly expand distribution and drive sales internationally.

Ahern has more than 19 years of experience in sales leadership, sales operations and supply chain management in multinational environments. Prior to joining ZAGG Inc, Ahern served as sales operations director for Dell Products Europe where he managed a team responsible for Emerging Markets channel revenue. During his tenure at Dell Europe, Ahern proved himself as an innovative problem solver with strong leadership skills and a drive for exceptional results.
