I am an evolutionary anthropologist, currently completing my PhD as part of the Soc-B Centre for Doctoral Training.
My research fits specifically within the realm of human behavioural ecology, with a particular interest in traits that appear to decrease reproductive success.
Currently, I am focusing on the menopause, looking at the ecological determinants of menopause timing and symptoms, examining whether the environmental factors that influence menopause symptom severity and age of menopause can be understood from within an evolutionary framework. This involves using data from China, the USA and the UK.
