Wendy is a Senior Learning Advisor at UniSQ, with a passion for music research and teaching academic skills. She has worked as a music educator in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in Queensland and as a research assistant. Her PhD examined how jazz vocalists learn to improvise, which led to multiple publications and conference presentations. She has recently begun exploring the world Open Educational Resources to bring equity in education to all learners. In her spare time, Wendy enjoys singing and writing about jazz.
