Lecturer, University of Nairobi Dr Owen Nyang'oro is a lecturer at the Department of Economics and Development Studies, University of Nairobi. He specialises in financial economics and econometrics. He currently teaches macroeconomics and corporate finance. He previously worked as a policy analyst at the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) and as an economic analyst at the Communications Authority of Kenya. He is a member of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) research network. His research interests are in financial sector development, corporate finance, trade finance and monetary policy.
