Her research project titled, Shame and the Figure of the Fangirl: Reconfiguring Shame in Popular Music Fandom, commenced in 2023. Her research spans fandom studies, social media studies, critical femininity studies, and feminist and queer theory. She is an advocate for attending to questions of femininity and queer lived experiences in research.
