Douglas is currently a Senior Research and ARC DECRA Fellow focusing on the influence of groundwater inputs on coastal environments. His research uses natural radioisotope tracers and numerical modelling techniques to quantify groundwater discharge and associate nutrients, greenhouse gas and pollutant inputs.
