HEC Paris, specializing in management education and research, announced that it is organizing its "Fintech Talent Fair" on October 20, 2016, a half-day event aiming to bring students closer to fintech-related employers, for the second consecutive year.
According to a release, the HEC Paris Campus will be hosting 17 companies representing the complete spectrum of companies involved in fintech initiatives including Bloomberg, BNP Paribas, Finance Innovation, FirmFunding, Fractal Labs, Globcoin, IbanFirst, among others.
The talent fair with inaugurate with a two-hour conference entitled “Has fintech reached the age of reason?” This session will address on the dynamics of the fintech sector and will be followed by a panel discussion on ‘Fintech at the crossroads: disruption, collaboration, regulation’ which will see participants including Matthieu Garnier, Head of Fintech & Research at BNP Paribas; Jonathan Tyce, Senior Banks Analyst, Bloomberg; Pierre-Antoine Dusoulier, Founder and CE of Ibanfirst, among others.
The keynote will be given by Celine Lazorthes, founder, and CEO of Leetchi and Mangopay and the fair will follow series of speed networking workshops to allow privileged interaction between HEC participants and companies. The event relies on the support of the HEC Alumni Finance Hub, which will take this opportunity to announce the launch of its Fintech Club.
