HOLMDEL, N.J., Feb. 22, 2018 -- iCIMS Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based talent acquisition solutions, announces a series of quarterly compliance webinars. The first webinar will serve as an introduction to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for compliance-minded HR professionals, beginning at 11 a.m. EDT on February 28.

The webinar will be hosted by Neal Dittersdorf, general counsel and privacy officer at iCIMS, and Kevin Coy, partner in the privacy practice at Arnall Golden Gregory LLP. Attendees will learn key elements of the GDPR (which requires compliance from companies by May 25, 2018), how GDPR applies to HR professionals, and some strategies for preparation ahead of the new regulations.
“The GDPR brings to life the principle that candidate and employee data privacy must be top of mind for companies and their leaders,” said Dittersdorf. “Employers will be obligated to protect candidate and employee data and embed privacy principles throughout their organizations. During this webinar series, we’ll examine the upcoming mandates required by the GDPR and how they may apply to the HR department, and suggest compliance strategies for impacted employers,” concluded Dittersdorf.
The quarterly compliance series is one of several initiatives deployed by iCIMS to educate the industry around technology complexities, including compliance and privacy issues. Recently, iCIMS’ Chairman and CEO, Colin Day, and Dittersdorf shared their thoughts on candidate data privacy management and consent under the GDPR, respectively.
Given the company’s work with global enterprise companies and its presence in the U.K., iCIMS will be participating in HR Tech World – London, U.K. on March 20-21, 2018 and can be found at stand number 406.
