iPhone 11 has been rumored to arrive on Sept. 10 after Apple sent out invitations for an event on this day. It was said that there would be three more units under this model so it will be a series and will likely include the iPhone 11 Pro. The international release date has been set for Sept. 20.
Also, regarding the release date, this could be the right one because CNET explained that in the past seven years, Apple has been launching its newest iPhone models in the same week as the Labor Day in the U.S. The day usually falls on the first Monday of September but sometimes when the release does not happen on this day, the launch is set to the following week, hence the given date.
What should not be expected
According to Tech Radar, people should not expect the iPhone 11 to come with a 5G network as the American tech giant is not yet ready to introduce this to its devices. Also, the Lightning connector might not be removed yet and will still be in this 11th gen of the iPhone unit. Lastly, foldable phones are becoming a trend but the iPhone 11 will not have this feature, at least for this version.
The camera and SRP
The suggested retail price for iPhone 11 will still be the same from the previous XS units. This means that it will be out with the price tag starting at $1,000 and up.
For the camera, leaked reports showed that iPhone 11 will have a triple rear camera. These will be placed in a square casing and will have a flash as well. OnLeaks’ Steve McFly shared this detail as far back as March and he provided pictures as well. Although the units are just prototypes, he said it’s the exact looks of the new iPhone.
The screen display and size
iPhone 11 will be introduced with OLED Retina screen display and will be 5.8 inches in size. There will be no 3D Touch feature in iPhone 11 but a newly developed touch-based interface screen feature will serve as a replacement. This will use the Taptic Engine to apply the Haptic Touch technology in the units.
