A tabloid recently alleged Angelina Jolie of begging for Brad Pitt to get back together with her. But, in another report, the estranged couple is purportedly attempting to come up with a custody agreement to finalize their divorce.
The publication, called Globe, claimed (via New Idea) that Jolie has been an “emotional wreck” as public opinion on her separation from Pitt is not working to her advantage. And to win back the people’s love, Jolie allegedly wants her estranged husband back to charm the fans once more.
However, the celeb rumor fact-checking outlet Gossip Cop claims otherwise. According to its own report, Jolie is not scrambling to get Pitt back. She is reportedly more focused on making substantial progress in their divorce.
Gossip Cop's report is somewhat supported by another recent claim that both parties are hoping to end the public drama and arrive at a custody settlement. Last month, Jolie and Pitt went back and forth in the media arguing about the alleged insufficient child support from the “World War Z” actor.
Then, last week, Entertainment Tonight reported that a source confirmed that Jolie and Pitt agreed to attend a “secret meeting” at the house of the actress. They are reportedly trying to hash things for the sake of their kids. Jolie and Pitt have six children together: Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and the 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
"It’s the first time they have truly gotten together to make things work since their group therapy with the children,” said the insider. “Brad and Angie’s meeting was a success. They are going to stay with the plan set forth through the courts."
The same source also claimed that it appears to be a huge development in Jolie and Pitt’s divorce. Jolie allegedly realized that it is time to try and be amicable in arranging their agreement. Pitt, on the other hand, “was relieved and very ready for the offer.”
Fans believe Jolie and Pitt’s relationship flourished on the set of the 2005 film “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” While they legally adopted some of their children and had the rest in the following years, they only tied the knot in 2014. Around two years later, Jolie filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.
