There are a lot of issues with regards to the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt custody battle raging right now and one of them is the split that it can cause friends and family. New reports have suggested, for example, that Jon Voight might actually take his former son-in-law’s side by testifying against his daughter. Of course, this is a complete lie.
This latest fib is courtesy of National Enquirer with a report that suggests a rather disturbing Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt custody battle shakeup. It was claimed that the ‘Maleficent’ star is afraid of letting her father testify since he might say things to her disadvantage. Words and phrases like “ugly truths” were carelessly thrown around, with a supposed source saying things that simply could not be corroborated.
“Jon knows her darkest secrets firsthand – and he has no reason to hold back,” the supposed source said.
Of course, none of this is true and when Jon Voight was asked about the new Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt story, the tabloid garbage claim was quickly denied. He says that he has no idea what the source was talking about and did not confirm one way or the other if he was going to be against his daughter in his testimony.
In the first place, the current developments in the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt custody battle is being done via settlement. It’s clear that neither of the two parties wants this case to go on a public trial basis, which would only result in a circus for them and their children. This would not be healthy for anyone.
So it should be clear now that this latest Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt story has no truth to it whatsoever. Jon Voight simply does not have anything to do with the case nor will he testify against his daughter.
