The Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt divorce war has become almost legendary in Hollywood for its intensity and scope, so it makes sense that there would be many who are hoping for its resolution. A glimmer of this hope was brought up recently with a report that suggests the pair might be spending Thanksgiving together with their kids. Unfortunately, this is simply not true.
From the relationship that everyone wanted to have to a bitter war that no one envies, the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt divorce proceedings have not been good for anyone. In a recent report by HollywoodLife, the frequent culprit of false gossip claimed that the pair would be having a Thanksgiving dinner. The publication cited a supposed source who could not be verified.
“Angelina wants to surprise the kids and have their father over for Thanksgiving dinner,” the supposed source reportedly told the publication. “Angelina knows the kids would love Brad to be there for the special day. She would love to recreate that bonding time for her kids.”
If this sounds too good to be true, that’s because it is. This report is almost a disgusting level of impropriety in terms of false claims since it paints the faint glimmer of hope that the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt situation could be resolved peacefully. It’s simply unfortunate that there is absolutely no indication that this is going to be the case.
A publication that is in agreement with this stance is GossipCop, which notes that no such Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Thanksgiving arrangement is in the works. While it would have been nice if this was actually the case and the two could put aside their differences for their children, this just isn’t happening. In the first place, the two are still locked in a bitter custody battle that is expected to make them hate each other even more.
