Though now estranged, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt remained to be some of Hollywood’s top subjects in the tabloids. 2018 rumors about Brangelina went as wild as linking the actress to Justin Theroux — Jennifer Aniston’s ex — while the actor has been relentlessly rumored dating Aniston again.
Just last month, there were reports that Jolie and Theroux have been spending a good amount of time talking to one another. A story came out claiming that the exes of Pitt and Aniston have “feelings for one another” and that their relationship is developing beyond just being friends.
Unsurprisingly, this report was later debunked. A spokesperson for Theroux reportedly told Gossip Cop that he is in no way involved with Jolie. The representative of Aniston’s ex further said the stories linking his name as the new man in the life of Pitt’s wife are “false.”
On the other hand, the claims that Pitt and Aniston are back together again has been an obvious favorite in the celebrity gossip industry. In October, Pitt and Aniston were rumored to be expecting their first child together.
Reports also insisted that Pitt is back with Aniston which explains why the actress was purportedly jealous of the closeness between Jolie’s ex and his “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” co-star Margaret Qualley. Yet again, these claims were dismissed by the actors’ representatives who clarified that Pitt and Aniston are definitely not dating each other again.
Aside from Pitt and Jolie’s involvement with other people, the subject of their divorce proceedings was also a consistently hot topic in 2018. Since their split in 2016, Jolie apparently got primary custody of their six children.
However, that arrangement was threatened in June when a judge warned her of reducing her initial custody rights if she will not help the kids maintain a relationship with Pitt, The Blast reported. The court reportedly ruled that the kids are safe with Pitt so Jolie was ordered to give him the children’s contact number and let them have unsupervised communication.
On a good note, Jolie and Pitt are ending 2018 with a finalized shared custody of their children. Meanwhile, the Hollywood stars are hoping to internally settle their divorce within the first half of 2019.
