Apple Watch fans rejoice! You can now get a USD100 discount off the regular retail price of the popular smartwatch if you purchase it on Best Buy. Gizmodo reports that the store is offering the discount on every model of the wearable, including the 38-millimeter Apple Watch Sport.
Although the discount may not usually bide good for Apple, it certainly fueled speculation that the company is clearing its house in time for its debut of the second iteration of the device, ZDNet wrote.
According to 9to5Mac, the Cupertino-based company is planning an event slated for March 2016 that could very well be the launch of the Apple Watch 2. Citing unnamed sources close to the purported plans, the second-generation wearable will officially debut at the supposed event, along with new iterations from the iPhone line. The Apple Watch 2 is expected to be shipped in April the same year, the sources also claimed.
