Marvel Entertainment obviously has a lot in store for movie fans, especially in 2019. Now, reports have it that the first look at “Avengers 4” is coming out before 2018 ends and that it will be officially titled “Annihilation.”
The release date for “Avengers 4” has been established but fans are still eagerly looking forward to catching a glimpse of what’s happening next. Luckily, MCU Cosmic recently reported that the first-ever trailer for the movie will be released this month.
However, the upcoming preview is more likely just a teaser. The report cited sources with knowledge of the “Avengers 4” international trailer who confirmed it will not reveal much about the plot. So it might serve as just a mere reminder that “Avengers 4” will premiere next year.
It was also reported that “Avengers 4” will be officially titled “Annihilation,” which is possibly one of the details to be revealed this month as well. MCU Cosmic added that just like the marketing timeframe for “Avengers: Infinity War,” the trailer for the next film will most likely land in the final week of November.
These rumors are not too far-fetched. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige confirmed last week (via Erick Weber) that the first “Avengers 4” trailer will be out “before the end of the year.”
As for the “Avengers 4” plot, the biggest question is how the heroes will make their comeback. Many fans are now betting that the Quantum Realm will make it happen.
Eagle-eyed fans, like Reddit user meme_abstinent, saw how a post-credit scene in “Ant-Man and the Wasp” briefly hinted at the relation of Thanos’s (Josh Brolin) snap and the Quantum Realm. When Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) collected the healing particles, the orange-colored objects left the background. But they returned and with visibly more movements just as Thanos wiped out half of the universe.
With Quantum Realm’s expected major role in “Avengers 4” comes the theory that the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) is due to return. If the Quantum Realm serves as a soul-keeping dimension where the revival of the superheroes will most likely begin, the Ancient One must be around to give fans a tour and help everyone understand the real power of the Quantum Realm. “Avengers 4” is slated to premiere on May 3, 2019.
