FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Dec. 21, 2017 -- Avoya Travel®, one of the world’s most innovative travel companies, celebrated the sales success of top selling Independent Agencies in the Avoya Travel Network™ with its Best of the Best Independent Agency Recognition Award Trip. Hosted by Holland America Line and Avoya, the Best of the Best trip awarded a record number of Independent Agencies that achieved more than $1 million in 2016 sales.
The number of Independent Agencies in the Avoya Travel Network reaching $1 million in sales had double-digit growth from 2015. The Best of the Best trip was an extended celebration of Avoya’s record sales in 2016 and Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network successfully reaching more customers and delivering more quality vacations than ever before.
This December, the Best of the Best Avoya Network members were invited to join Avoya executives and Holland America Line representatives onboard the beautiful ms Eurodam for the 7-night Western Caribbean sailing. In addition to experiencing ports-of-call in the Bahamas, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and Key West, Florida, Independent Agency owners had access to special Holland America Line education sessions and intimate networking with Avoya’s top executives.
“Hosting the Best of the Best Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network and celebrating their success in providing extraordinary vacation experiences to travelers was our honor,” said Eva Jenner, Vice President of Sales at Holland America Line. “We were proud to showcase ms Eurodam and are excited that Avoya Network members are able to share first-hand knowledge of the elegant cruise vacation experience Holland America Line offers our mutual guests.”
While in Ochos Rios, the Jamaica Tourist Board personally greeted the Avoya Network members as they disembarked onto the beautiful island. Local Independent Agency owner and member of the Avoya Travel Network, Sharon White of Sheri-Funtastic Travels and Resorts Ltd., was instrumental in initiating the exclusive welcome event which showcased the strong relationship the island has with travel professionals.
“It was an incredible opportunity to sail on Holland America Line’s exquisite ms Eurodam and experience the memorable vacations the line creates for guests with impeccable service, updated interiors and entertainment venues, and excellent dining options,” said Tim Orlowski, owner of Travel by Tim & Steve, LLC. “I’m also eager to share my experience in the Caribbean with my clients as a reminder that the beautiful islands and ports-of-call are open and ready for guests to enjoy.”
“Participating in Avoya’s Best of the Best Recognition Award Trip was extraordinary for my business, from the exclusive Holland America education to invaluable networking with Avoya executives and top Independent Agencies,” said Abbey Mopsick, owner of Abbey's World Travel LLC. “I’m already excited and motivated to reach sales goals I’ve set for next year’s reward trip!”
