BTS proved that they are the new kings in YouTube when they dropped “Dynamite” on Aug. 21. The music video’s number of views immediately picked up from the time it was posted and amazingly gained more than 100 million views in just 24 hours.

BTS’ new achievement on YouTube

As reported by Forbes, BTS once again made new history as “Dynamite” becomes the most viewed video of all-time. It was the best-ever single that recorded the most views within 24 hours upon its debut on the world’s largest video-sharing site.

“We can confirm that BTS’ 'Dynamite' official MV has set a new all-time 24-hour record, surpassing 100 million views with its 101.1 million views in the first 24 hours,” a YouTube rep told Forbes via a statement.

The spokesperson went on to say, “ BTS 'Dynamite' music video has set a new all-time record for the biggest music video premiere with over 3 million peak concurrent views.” The site also said that it will release a new statement once it finalized the over-all total for the views.

One great factor for this result is probably the fact that BTS’ new song is an English track. Fans all over the world can easily play the music without the need to translate the lyrics and sing-along instantly as well.

BTS drops two new remix versions of “Dynamite”

Meanwhile, Variety reported that BTS also released two remix versions of their first full English track. Big Hit Entertainment made the announcement on Monday and shared that these follow-ups are additional EDM and acoustic versions.

“While the minimal acoustic track puts at the very forefront the members’ vocals, the EDM is a rearrangement of the original song that maximizes the upbeat and fun vibes,” BTS’ agency said in a statement.

“Dynamite” is a disco single and showed a retro concept. The track just made the summer in South Korea more remarkable with this song with that 70s and 80s vibe. Next up, BTS will be releasing “Break The Silence: The Movie,” and it will premiere in the U.S. on Sept. 24. Finally, as of writing, the “Dynamite” music video has over 170 million views already.
