Since Brad Pitt’s separation from Angelina Jolie, the actor has been repeatedly rumored to be dating several women. The latest name linked to him is Charlize Theron.
Pitt and Theron’s supposedly budding romance was first reported by Star. The tabloid spoke to a source who claimed the actor is trying hard not to reveal their relationship to the media. “They meet up at luxury hotel suites around the world – London, Paris, even Beverly Hills – for dates… It’s given them time to get to know each other away from the spotlight,” the insider said (via International Business Times).
The same tipster was reportedly told by Pitt that he connected with Theron over several common interests, including art and architecture. It is important to note that just a couple of weeks ago, Pitt was rumored to be dating a different woman. So how true is the most recent claim about the “World War Z” actor’s love life?
Gossip Cop can confirm that Charlize Theron and Brad Pitt are not an item. The fact-checking news outlet reached out to the actor’s representative, who said Pitt just “laughed off” the most recent dating claims.
As mentioned, this is not the first time Pitt is rumored back in the dating scene while his two-year running divorce proceedings from Angelina Jolie is yet to be settled. Before Theron, some news outlets were quick to spark dating speculations between Pitt and spiritual healer Sat Hari Khalsa.
Brad Pitt and Sat Hari Khalsa were previously seen seated next to each other at a gala hosted by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. While the photos seem to show they were having a good time together, follow-up reports clarified that the two did not even go to the event as dates and that they are just good friends.
So far, the reports linking Pitt to a supposed “new girlfriend” have all turned out inaccurate. MIT professor Neri Oxman was reportedly dating Pitt months before the rumors with Charlize Theron spread. But The New York Times published a profile on Oxman where she “emphatically” denied ever dating the Hollywood actor.
