Buffkin / Baker, a leading national retained search firm, is pleased to announce that Ted Jadick – a veteran of 40 years of building strong corporate boards of directors – has joined Buffkin/Baker as a partner and head of the firm’s global governance practice.

Before joining Buffkin/Baker in January, Jadick was a vice chairman of Heidrick & Struggles, a member of the firm’s executive committee and the managing partner of its New York Office.

His client list includes Major League Baseball, Office Depot, Abercrombie & Fitch, DIRECTV, Dollar General, Hershey Trust Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tiffany & Co., Unilever NV, ConEdison, PPL Corporation, Bristol Myers Squibb, Webster Bank, and Lands’ End.
Jadick was nominated by clients as one of the top executive recruiters in America in all three editions of John Sibbald's Career Makers. He is also listed among the top 200 executive recruiters in the world in The Global 200 Executive Recruiters by Nancy Garrison Jenn.
Before joining Heidrick, Jadick was senior vice president at Frank W. Hastings. He previously served as a staff accountant and auditor at Haskins and Sells (Deloitte), and began his career at Arthur Young & Company.
A former trustee of the University of Scranton, Jadick was recently inducted into the Kania School of Management's Business Leaders Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the University's President's Business Council. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Scranton. Jadick is a former Trustee of Calvary Hospital Fund, Bronx New York.
