The prospect of CD Projekt Red making an appearance at this year’s E3 has gotten fans who are looking forward to more “Cyberpunk 2077” details fired up. Based on reports that have been coming out, it would seem that the Polish studio is not going to disappoint as it is staking much on its presentation. What’s more, it has now been officially confirmed that the game will be a cross-generation title.
As Push Square reports, CD Projekt Red will be pulling out all the stops during its E3 appearance if the statements made by the studio’s CEO Adam Kiciński are any indication. Speaking during a financial briefing, the developer made it clear that there will be a lot riding on its appearance during the event. The release date for “Cyberpunk 2077” might actually, finally be revealed.
"This year's [E3] is going to be the most important one ever for us. We have really prepared a strong show," Kiciński said.
There are currently no concrete details as to what exactly makes this E3 appearance so important, but theories suggest that it could have something to do with when “Cyberpunk 2077” will come out. If so, it would be plenty of reasons for fans to celebrate.
Another reason why gamers will look forward to “Cyberpunk 2077” even more is the prospect of playing the game on the current and next generation of consoles. Basically, anyone who has a PlayStation 4 right now will not have to upgrade just to play the game. For those who want to experience the title on a more powerful unit, though, will have that option.
For now, the best guess as to when “Cyberpunk 2077” will come out is 2020. This is based solely on bits and pieces of information that have been released, thus far. What many analysts are sure of is that it will not be coming out this year.
