Some of the most crucial developments in this story arc will unfold in “DanMachi” season 3, episode 6, as the official preview hints at two major plot points taking place. First, Hermes successfully locates Ikelos. Also, the Hestia Familia is able to help amid the ongoing chaos by finding the entrance to a man-made labyrinth called Knossos.

Hermes was shown in episode 5, telling Asfi that he has to go somewhere, but he left out any details. It is now confirmed that his destination is wherever Ikelos is hiding. The official preview of “DanMachi” season 3, episode 6, shows a brief encounter between the two heads of Familia.
The Ikelos Familia has been known for its long-running involvement in black market transactions, including the trafficking of Xenos monsters. But the motivation behind their actions is still unclear, especially with Ikelos himself seemingly not having direct control over his members. This should change soon as the interaction between Hermes and Ikelos in “DanMachi” season 3, episode 6, should lead to the revelation of new information. In the light novel, Ikelos offered Hermes any information he wants to know as a reward for finding him despite his efforts to hide.
What is Knossos?
Members of the Hestia Familia, except for Bell, were not called to participate in the response actions following the Xenos’ attack at Rivira. But the “DanMachi” season 3 episode 6 preview shows they will not just sit back and not do anything. Hestia and others will continue their work trying to find the Ikelos Familia base, which leads to Lili going back to the Soma Familia home to talk to Zanis, who then gives her a major clue by directing them to start their search in Daedalus Street.
“DanMachi” season 3, episode 6, is titled “Knossos (Man-Made Labyrinth).” While that gives away the basic description of what Knossos is, it has thousands of years worth of history that plays a major role in Dix’s aversion towards the Xenos. The work of the Hestia Familia, Bell’s upcoming fight with Dix, and Ikelos’ revelations should build a picture of what Knossos is and who created it.
