“Dragon Ball Heroes” season 2 is here, and it will open the new “Big Bang Mission” arc following the end of the “Universal Conflict.” Last week, a special episode was aired, and it showed the fight between the Time Patrol and Dark Demon Realm. Now, it will continue with a new battle, and this time, the heroes are set to face the gods of destruction.
Premiere episode title
It was revealed that “Dragon Ball Heroes” season 2, episode 1, has been titled "The Invasion of Gods of Destruction! The Beginning of a New Battle!" And apparently, it has arrived at a time when the heroes have to battle a powerful set of villains.
But then, why the gods of destruction are angry at the heroes is not clear, at least as of this time. The question is - why would they fight with Goku and the rest? Did they commit something that they didn’t like?
What to expect
Comic Book reported that “Dragon Ball Heroes” season 2 will also present and highlight the prowess of other heroes. This means that aside from the familiar heroes that fans always see in the battles, the other Xeno fighters will be focused on in this new arc.
As shared on Manga Thrill, the official synopsis of “Dragon Ball Heroes” season 2 (Big Bang Mission) reads: “Tokitoki, who controls all space-time, escapes to the seventh universe! The twelve gods of destruction who sensed a crisis on a cosmic scale approach the seventh universe to eliminate the issue!”
Also, “Goku, Trunks and You come face to face and clash with the “Gods of Destruction” to protect Tokitoki. What will be the fate of the seventh universe?”
The arrival of Xeno fighters will surely add more excitement, plus the battles are predicted to be long. With more fighters on the heroes’ side and a bunch of gods fighting as the villains, there is no doubt that it will be another destructive face-off.
Release date
“Dragon Ball Heroes” season 2, episode 1, has a release date already. DBSChronicles tweeted on Feb. 23 that it will arrive on March 5. If there will be no delays, the premiere of the new season will proceed next week.
