Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi were reported to have started living apart and this was because they are on the brink of filing for divorce. It was alleged that the couple bought a $15 million Beverly Hills home but this was not meant to be their “love nest” because only one of them was supposed to live here.
The new home was described as Portia’s “escape pad” and it was claimed that she will be staying in the mansion for two nights per week in order to give hers and Ellen DeGeneres relationship some breather. This setup is being done to give each other some space and eventually strengthen their marriage.
“Ellen’s very controlling and Portia has put up with it for far too long,” the source told Life & Style. “Ellen’s insane jealousy has always been the root of their nastiest fights, and their last few arguments have only been getting worse.”
However, Gossip Cop stated that this is a 100% false story. It is dismissing the claims that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi cannot stand living together under one roof and that they are barely speaking to each other. In fact, GC pointed out that the couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” host even wrote a loving tribute to her wife.
Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres recently donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department foundation to show how grateful she is for their hard work and risking their lives to save other people. It can be recalled that Ellen and Portia were victims of fire as well.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Portia De Rossi’s wife gave out $100,000 to the foundation as she addressed the wildfires in California. Via her show, Ellen DeGeneres paid tribute to the firefighters by saying, "There are not enough words to tell the firefighters how grateful we all are for them. Literally, they just run toward danger. They save thousands and thousands of people."
