HAMBURG, N.Y., Feb. 18, 2016 -- Evans Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE MKT:EVBN), a community financial services company serving Western New York since 1920, announced today that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.38 per share on its outstanding common stock, a 6% increase from its previous dividend paid on October 6, 2015. The dividend is payable on April 5, 2016 to shareholders of record as of March 15, 2016. The Company has approximately 4.3 million shares outstanding.
With this increase, Evans semi-annual dividend rate is up 90% to $0.38 per share from $0.20 in August 2011.
